I was just introduced to Light Rock Fishing (LRF), an ultralight method of angling for multispecies from the shore. Originally from Japan, this technique was popularized in the UK (info 1, 2)
We hit a calm jetty near a nice stretch of the Pacific Ocean here in California. Fish were hesitant to bite, but we managed 8 total in several hours of fishing.
